Client Agreement & Disclaimer

Before beginning any life coaching sessions with Lighter View Life Coaching, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in life coaching sessions.
Not a Substitute for Professional Help: You understand that your life coach is not a licensed psychologist, doctor, therapist, counselor, or any other medical or mental health professional. Life coaching is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or any other professional services.
Coaching Sessions Are Conversations Between Consenting Adults: Life coaching sessions with Lighter View Life Coaching are informal discussions designed to help you explore personal development, gain clarity, and make informed decisions.
No Guaranteed Results: While coaching may provide insights, tools, and guidance, there are no guaranteed outcomes. Success depends entirely on your own actions, efforts, and decisions.
Full Responsibility for Actions: You acknowledge that any decisions, actions, or inactions taken as a result of coaching are entirely your own responsibility. Lighter View Life Coaching, or any affiliated parties, shall not be held liable for any outcomes—positive or negative—resulting from your choices.
Seeking Professional Help: If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, severe emotional distress, or any mental health crisis, you agree to seek immediate professional assistance from a licensed mental health professional or crisis service. Life coaching is not a replacement for therapy, crisis intervention, or medical treatment.
Sensitive and Personal Topics: Life coaching sessions may involve deep, personal, or sensitive discussions. You have the right to decline to answer any questions, but doing so may limit the effectiveness of the coaching provided.
Confidentiality: Your coach will keep all discussions private; however, confidentiality may not apply in cases where disclosure is required by law (e.g., threats of harm to self or others, illegal activity, or abuse).
Right to Decline or Terminate Coaching: Lighter View Life Coaching reserves the right to refuse, deny, or terminate coaching services at any time, for any reason, without obligation to provide an explanation.
No Legal or Financial Advice: Life coaching does not include legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice. You should consult with a licensed professional for matters related to these fields.
